This bag is handmade in small batches in Dorset, exclusively for us, by a skilled artisan with over 30 years’ experience. Each one is carefully cut, stitched, and finished by hand, using traditional techniques and considered materials chosen for durability and everyday use.
Made from either traditional waxed cotton or dry wax cotton, the bag is fully lined with a sturdy, water-resistant fabric and designed to be practical without unnecessary detail. An open front pocket offers easy access, while an internal pocket keeps keys and valuables close to hand. A chunky leather strap, finished with high-quality antique brass fixings, adds strength, balance, and character.
Because this bag is handmade, subtle variations are part of the process — small, human details that make each piece unique. Produced in limited runs, it reflects a slower way of making: fewer pieces, made well, and designed to be used often and last for years.
Available in Olive Green traditional waxed cotton, or Burnt Orange and Navy Blue dry wax cotton. Traditional waxed cotton can be reproofed with wax reproofer, while dry wax cotton is maintained with a waterproofing spray, helping the fabric age beautifully over time.

This bag has turned out to be so versatile. The first thing I noticed was the smell of the leather: it instantly gives it that luxurious feel. It’s just the right size for all my essentials: phone, charger, notebook, treats, and of course, poop bags.
I’ve taken it from business meetings in London straight to Richmond Park with Mozart, and it never feels out of place. I was a little worried it might look too big on me (I’m quite petite), but it actually fits perfectly. The adjustable strap makes it really easy to wear comfortably. Dog in the picture for scale!
The bag itself is beautifully simple in style. I love that it’s practical and stylish at the same time. It’s rare to find a bag that feels equally at home in a meeting room and on a muddy walk, but this one does exactly that.

A beautifully made, classy and classic bag. I bought it for a trip to Krakow and it fit everything in that I needed, water, book, phone purse etc
It is very understated and credit to the maker, the leather strap is so lovely. I know it will be my go to bag for any occasion (apart from when I’m walking the dog as I have the dog bag for that)

It has an internal zip pocket and a super useful large outside pocket. I love this bag and I love the care and thought that was put into the making of it.. So happy.
