Based on a traditional design, our new Gamekeepers Satchel is classic in style with a modern twist and some very useful design features.

Made from Waxed Cotton Canvas and featuring antique brass details on the buckle, clips and strap. Chunky Zip closure to keep everything safe inside and a zip up internal pocket and several open pockets inside to store all your essentials neatly. There is even a concealed rear zip up pocket for your phone and keys etc...

There are some usual Dandy Dog Bag touches that you come to expect with the use of Vegan leather corner protectors and Sturdy herringbone tape detailing.

Available in two sizes, Small and Large and Two lovely vintage Colours. Classic Brown and Vintage Grey.

There are Optional Patterned Straps to purchase to compliment these bags In Brown/Orange Aztec design and Red/Blue Aztec Design with the matching Antique Brass hardware. Mix them up however you wish!

Made from Waxed Cotton, they offer good rain protection. We recommend you re wax every 12 months to reproof your bag and keep it in tip top condition

Fabulous little bag

I ordered a 'seconds' satchel (which was absolutely mint - I couldn't see any faults) for dog walks with our young German Shepherd. I wanted a bag which I could use for walks in all weathers, but wouldn't look dreadful worn more generally. I went for the small size so I'd avoid stuffing it with too much stuff! I'm really delighted with the bag - it's attractive and neat, and plenty nice enough to be worn to the shops / pub etc. I generally have in it two balls on ropes (one normal size, one large), dog whistle, tissues, phone, purse, keys and treats and it fits everything nicely. I clip a 'dicky bag' to it for the poo bags, so this can be easily detached when going out dogless. I've used it in very heavy rain and the waxed cotton kept the contents nice and dry. I would definitely recommend this, and may well be tempted by the larger size in future - particularly if it's ever available in more colours. Lovely swift service, and beautifully packaged too.

Love it!!

This bag is perfect for traveling and being in the go with my dog! Plenty of space for treats and dog food, as well as my own wallet, keys, etc. I also plan on using it for my own personal travel since it’s very convenient and just the right size!
