Snap shut too tight

My son got me this for Christmas to go with the waist bag. Unfortunately it doesn’t hang on bag properly and is very difficult to open, needs two hands. Dog treats should be instantly accessible. 😫

Nicely made as are the other products we have purchased and the snap shut is good, but it is too small to get your hand in and does not hang vertically, my fault I didn't think about where the clip was when I purchased it, so no good for aid in training dog, more just a small pouch for bits for dog.
