A quick healthy bake for your dogs
Ingredients
1 ripe banana (mashed)
100g Rolled Oats
120g natural peanut butter (ensure its xylitol free)
Optional, 1Tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seed for added fibre.
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180
- In a mixing bowl, mash the banana and stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
- Add the oats and flax/chia seeds and mix to a sticky dough
- Roll out on a floured surface and use a cookie cutter to cut into shapes.
- Place on a lined baking sheet
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until firm and lightly golden
- Allow to cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight jar for up to 7 days or freeze on day of making and defrost as needed.
Optional add ins
Swap banana for cooked sweet potato or pumpkin puree.
