Oat and Banana Dog Biscuits

A quick healthy bake for your dogs

Ingredients

1 ripe banana (mashed)

100g Rolled Oats

120g natural peanut butter (ensure its xylitol free)

Optional, 1Tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seed for added fibre.

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the banana and stir in the peanut butter until well combined.
  3. Add the oats and flax/chia seeds and mix to a sticky dough
  4. Roll out on a floured surface and use a cookie cutter to cut into shapes.
  5. Place on a lined baking sheet
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until firm and lightly golden
  7. Allow to cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight jar for up to 7 days or freeze on day of making and defrost as needed.

Optional add ins

Swap banana for cooked sweet potato or pumpkin puree.
